ID CS 5.5 - Created a one page doc with .5" margin on four sides. Then created a .25 guide outside the .5" margin for a box to extend to. When I rip to PDF and print using my HP Deskjet D1530, the box at the top of the page is on target - I can see the full box. The box at the bottom is cut off even though it, too, is on the .25" guide line (left, bottom and right).
Am I doing something wrong? Is it a printer issue, an Adobe PDF issue - or an InDesign issue?
Thanks for the help in advance.
Typically, this is caused by scaling on output from Acrobat. Make sure you don’t have that enabled.
Also, be sure the printer is capable of printing that close to the edge. Ink jets typically require a bit more white space on the bottom.
