I've set up my document on 8.5x11 pages, landscape. I want to fold the pages in half for a 5.5x8 booklet, portrait. So a "page" shows what will be two 5.5x8 pages, and a "spread" shows what will be four 5.5x8pages. However, using Print Booklet to a CutePDF, 2-up saddle stitch onto 8.5x11 landscape is only capturing every other page of my document. If I rescale, it puts a spread (4 pages) on one page. Any ideas?
I've retitled and moved your question to a new discussion.
Booklets should be set up as facing pages with each page defined at the trim size of the finished booklet, so in your case you want to set up as 4 x 5.5 portrait facing pages, plus wahtever bleed allowance you might need. Page on will be by itself, and the remaining pages, up the last, will appear in two-page spreads in reading order. The last will be alone as well. For a folded and stitiched book you must have a multiple of four pages.
That solved it, thank you.
