    Expandable table

      there is my site that im making. i want to have the table expand to the bottom of the page with all parts rigid except the part with the text in the middle. I try to edit the cell properties of the text cell however it only lets me put in pixel values, not % values. I have the whole table set up to have a height of 100% but it obviously isn't covering 100% of the height. I created the table with layers and converted it back into a table if that makes any difference. I have used this code before to solve this problem:

      <style type="text/css">
      <!--
      html { min-height:100%; margin-bottom:1px; }
      -->
      </style>

      but from what i can recall i got it from a forum and they said it was a makeshift solution. how can i apply this to my current layout? thanks
