Because I could not find my NIK software I changed the Plug-in prefrence in CS6 and now I cannot load CS6. I get a runtime error of R6034 that says "attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly".
What do I do to fix this?
I posted this message on july 12 and was recommended to un-install CS6 and run cleanertool and re-install.
I did this and still get the same message.
However I find that if I continue to try to close the error message window that it finally closes and CS6 opens and works fine.
Any other suggestions?
Remove the alternate plug-in path in your prefs or trash them to remove the reference. Hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift while the program starts, then confirm the reset of the prefs when prompted.

OK: I've had this error when trying to download CS6 from the cloud. I cannot get the Ctrl+ALT+Shift to work while I open the program. Once again I've unintalled cS6, rebooted and will this time try to avoid the perils of the alt path for plug-ins
This is not what I had in mind when I went for the cloud idea
