2. Re: Flash Player fails in CS6
DanelKirch Jul 17, 2012 7:43 AM (in response to kglad)for me it seems to be something with CS6 since it works perfectly fine in cs5.5.
Also when uploading the swf to server, compiled with cs6, it doesnt seem to work live. Only version that compiles and works is cs5.5
EDIT: that link, they are missing Flash Pro as a product

4. Re: Flash Player fails in CS6
DanelKirch Jul 17, 2012 8:01 AM (in response to Suhas Yogin)ohh sorry.
Latest updates: yes
Flash pro version: cs6 (12.0.0.481)
OS: OSX 10.7.4
other: im not able share the fla file cause of the policy and sensitivity in this project. but basically what i do, i have an simple xml containing the vimeo video IDs , loading them in, and creating a new vimeo instance for each video. Vimeo class that i use is the one available from https://github.com/vimeo/player-api/blob/master/actionscript/src/com/vimeo/api/VimeoPlayer .as
problem: one everything is loaded, i see vimeo video(s) as stopped. when setting autoplay to TRUE (1) , also when setting to FALSE (0) but manually clicking the play button, Flash Player window freezes and gives me White stage with everything removed from it. A simple timer tracing out numbers each second, stopped reporting traces when white stage appears.
Alltho it seems to work from time to time when running in debug mode in Flash IDE. So im unable to debug and find out the source of that problem.
But everything works well in CS5.5 with its latest updates.
Hopefully it helps you a little
