I saw some tutorials that show after applying motion tracking to a layer you can move it and it will retain the data, however it isnt working this time. I have a jpg image i need to basically use as a matte to lay on top of another image. I line it up at the first frame where it needs to be, then track the data from the main layer, apply it to the jpg and once i do, its off someplace else other than where I want it. If I move it to where it should be in the first frame with no keyframe, it just gets all crazy through the rest of the clip. I tried changing anchor point, that doesn't work either. So, anyone have a clue?
You need to use the pan behind tool, not the normal move/ select tool.
