I'm importing a Maya .ma file to get the camera and some nulls from a scene (non-animated). (Which I'll later export to C4D)
But everything is coming into AE super tiny. My nulls and camera are just a few pixels apart in Z space. So when I use C4D's Cinema Exporter for AE, it's coming in as a super tiny scene.
So how do I embiggen my AE 3D space? Collapse Transforms and scale XYZ? Is there a script that can handle the busy work?
Create a new null.
Make it 3D.
Parent all of the layers to the null (including lights camera etc).
Scale the null up as big as you want.
Unparent all layers.
Also you could open the file in a text editor and adjust the values before opening it....
Which values? Is there an overall scene scale value to adjust?
