I'm working on a support case concerning tables. If you add a <thead></thead> Tag with a certain class you can make them sortable (JQuery Function). We migrated from CQ 5.3 to 5.4. Now it appears that the Rich Text Editor removes automatically the <thead> Tags, so the sortable function doesn't work any longer.
I already read through this article: http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/administering/configuring_rich_text_editor.htm
There I read that tag replacement is to configure with the htmlPasteRules node. But in our text component this node isn't initialised (see picture).
The <thead> is also deleted if I type the code by hand and don't paste it in.
Thanx in advance
AFAIK Currently cq implementation enforce "th" tags to be used for table header.
According to the XHTML 1.1 DTD, both "th" & "thead" can be used. Use th instead.
