How are you applying the update?  Are you using CS6 or the Creative Cloud?  What operating system are you using?

I'm using Adobe updater that appears at the top of my mac whenever an

update is available for one of my web premium applications. It's the

latest Lion operating system.

Conmolbry please try downloading and applying the update manually.  You can find more details at Error U44M1P7 | Install updates | CCM, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-u44m1p7-installing-updates-ccm.html.

I tried it and it still failed albeit a slightly different error

message. It is CS6 instead of Cloud, I may not have made that clear earlier:

Conmolbry can you please check the version of the Adobe Application Manager you are utilizing?  You can locate it in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Application Manager/core.

I am having the exact same problem and error code.  What version of Adobe App Manager should I be utilizing?  I'm on a Mac, with Lion fully updated.

6.2.38 or 6.2.77 should resolve these difficulties.

What is your workflow for applying the update Conmolbry?  Are you trying to apply the update directly from http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/ or are you having the Adobe Application Manager download and apply the update?

Also if you update to 6.2.77 version of the Adobe Application Manager in the bottom right hand corner of http://www.adobe.com/downloads/ do you still experience the same difficulties?

6.2.77 or applying the update manually should resolve your difficulties.  At this point I would recommend contacting our support team so they can work with you directly.  For the best assistance, I recommend our chat support at http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6.  Our chat representatives can provide a personalized experience to resolve the issue you have described.

If you would not mind posting to this thread with the results, I would be curious to see the resolution, it will help future users facing the same difficulty.

I tried it but was told by Rahul this was a phone support issue. I

called the number he gave me and was told my wait time was about 30 min.

so I bagged that. Now I'm not having issues with extension manager that

I'm aware of even without the updates. But a bit frustrating with the

mixed signals and the remarkable time delays between the back and forth

in the forum followed by this result. Not meaning to single you out

specifically, just a general disappointment in the time investment for

both of us and still no further along (other than the standard fixes

have been ruled out, which I suppose is something).

I am sorry you are continuing to have difficulties.  Do you have a case number I can reference to review what was done by our support team?

Sorry I'm confused. There was no additional support team assistance, just the very brief chat exchange that quickly stalled.
