    Image blend

    Active8
      Hi there,

I am trying to create what surely must be a simple effect. I want to create an image that transforms from one image to another in a loop. In other words, lets say I create a 100x100 cell within a table. I want to have an image that transforms into a second image, possible even a third image and so on. It wouldnt neccesarily have to be a blend transition, maybe even a wipe style?

Is this possible in DW or would I need another application?

Any instructions, please keep fairly simple as I am by no means an expert user ;D

      Cheers

You may need Paint Shop Pro (PSP).

I'm fairly good at PSP and can help you if you need any help. My e-mail address is vantheman@manchesterunitedfc.net if you need help on it.

You could try Marja'a Trans Slide Show extension - you can find it here
at the bottom of the page.........

The best, most efficient, and friendly way would be to use Flash.

                Hi

It would be best done in flash. I hesitate to use the following because
everything is easy if you know how. But this is a simple thing to create in
flash or one of the many flash creation programs.

if you take a look at http://www.edwards-micros.co.uk/movie1.swf

that only took a couple of minutes.

If you get stuck email me

                Ian

Aaargh - but why is it best done in flash when the OP is asking for a DW
                  solution.

If I want to go to France by boat - I hope not to be told it would be
                  best to fly.

                  OK rant over

                    There is no DW solution.

The solution you gave involved a graphics editor and javascript.

The solution we gave involved Flash.

And it *is* best to fly to France.
