Importing audio

I am having trouble importing audio on some files from ppt to presenter.  Yesterday I spent alot of time updating a powerpoint from last semester requiring me to re-record audio on several slides.  When I tried to import into Presenter the audio on the newly edited slides did not import.  This is extremely frustrating. What is going on?

-- Can you check if this happening with a specific presentation only? try creating anew and import same audio file?

-- Also could you please check witha  different sample audio file? btw what is the audio file format are you using?

Can elaborate more about this, your PowerPoint and Presenter  version?
