    UNINSTALL PSE 10

    huongcos

I had bought this PSE 10 for more than 1 year. Everything went fine until a few days ago, I reset the setting to open the program in EDIT only. Now I cannot use the PSE 10 anymore unless I have to reboot the laptop and start from the beginning.

      I have 2 questions?

1.- How can I reset the PSE10 to the previous setting (organizer and Edit)? or

2.- How can I uninstall the PSE10 then reinstall it ? I have problem to uninstall it first before reinstalling it.

      Please help

In the PSE Editor's window, click on the "Welcome Screen" icon in the upper right corner.  When the screen opens, choose your settings.

I don't see the "welcome screen icon"  but only "the house" pic /icon but when I clicked on that, it does NOTHING. The other button is the organizer. From left to right from the upper right corner are "the small house" icon, The Organizer, Redo, Undo and Reset panels buttons + 3 (minimize, maxmize and close)  buttons from Windows.

              1.

Bypass the Unwelcome Screen by creating Desktop shortcuts for the Organizer and the Editor, and restarting your computer.

              The Editor's executable is:

              "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"

              The Organizer's executable is:

              "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 10 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"

The Unwelcome Screen leaves a zombie process running which prevents the actual program from launching again.

              2.

Now, when you open the Editor that "house" icon will open the (Un)welcome screen.
