i have an interesting problem...
i have a rectangle (mcIn), dynamically drawn within (within
on the stage) another dynamically drawn "hollow" rectangle (mcOut)
(think rectangular doughnut)
now, there are buttons to move mcIn with the idea being that
when it hitTests positive with mcOut then it will tell me. the
problem is, (i think) that since it resides in the middle of mcOut,
it always tells me that it is hitting, even though it isnt. (at
least it doesn't look like it is).
my question: is there a way to do this, so that the hollow
part of mcOut will not register as part of that movieClip, and the
hitTest will only register when it hits the part of mcOut that is
