What are tried and true techniques for managing acronyms in unstructured FM (I'm newly on FM10)? Trying to avoid wheel reinvention here...
A quick search of the forum for "acronym" looks rather sparse, maybe because "everyone" already knows how to do it?
The client wants a list of acros and doesn't mind if they appear in the same list as key terms.
Authors want to associate definition text in a body paragraph to the (parenthetical) acro that immediately follows. We also want to consider a character format for acros, something like small caps. That character tagging is, or is not, part of the means to assemble a list or table of acros.
Seems like FM has enough of the right features to make this as manageable as glossary items.
Do we re-engineer glossary techniques? New type of marker?
