    button properties

is there anything i can set besides the label of a button(flash.control.button)

i tried looking at the button package (edit class from library) however it gives me a failed to open document warning and any attempted ive had at guessing a propriety has failed

what im interested in doing is having a second value for the button, like how the comboBox has both a label and data

      thank you

You can look up all of the properties, methods, and events associated with any object in the Flash help documentation.  If you type "Button" in the actions panel, right click it, and choose View Help in the popup menu (at the bottom), it should open that section of the documentation for you.

As far as I can see, there is nothing in the way of a "value" property for a Button object.  If that remains true, then you can always create a MovieClip instead and use it as a button with all off the properties you would like to assign to it.
