    Captivate 5 Not Launching

      Captivate 5 was installed on laptop running Win Vista 64 bit.   Ran fine through last summer, haven't used since.  Tried to launch recently and receive "application falied to initialize properly " error.  Uninstalled/Reinstalled many times, downloaded patch from Adobe site, etc.  Nothing working.  Runs fine on my desktop computer.  Might anyone have a suggestion of things to try?  Thanks.

          Hello,

           

          When you uninstalled Captivate 5, did you check "Remove Preferences" ?

           

          Do you have any other Adobe Product installed on this computer (Laptop, WIn Vista 64bit) ?

           

          Did you tried to launch Captivate 5 from another user account (Built-in Administrator) ?

           

          Any hardware changes on your Laptop since summer ?
