InDesign CS5.5 crashes with OS X Lion 10.7.4

      Hi,

I got the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection around March and had been using it without any major issues for a while on my old Macbook. Since that computer only had two gigs of ram, and was getting old, I got a the new 15" Macbook Pro with retina display. It has 16 gigs of ram. But since getting it I have been unable to get my Adobe software to work properly on it. (My old computer was running Leopard, this one has Lion, so I thought that may be the issue, but at my work they run CS5 with Lion no problem)

Every program I have used so far has unexpectedly crashed. I am posting here because I know how to re-create the Indesign crash. Any time I try to delete a page in my document, the program quits. A warning box does come up, but it does not contain any text, and closes within a few seconds.

I searched the forum, and found one person's solution was to save the file as an IDML. I have tried this but it did not work. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything, but that did not work either.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks. It seems like that worked. Do you know if there is a similar thing for Illustrator? (Do I need one of these for each of my programs?)

Are you using Font Explorer for font management? If so try updating the plugin. Also you should update your ID to 7.5.3 from the 7.5.0 mentioned in the crash report.

You should check in the Illustrator forum...
