Auto Hiding scrollbar is not working (SE)

I recently built a single edition viewer with the new setting "Auto Hide Scrollbar", but it is not working as expected on my ipad.

See screenshot and version number of the viewer below:

The scrollbar and the 6px overlay are still persistent on the screen.
