Hi Bill, Thanks for this long waiting, Areca does release their PCI-e Version 3.0 this week.
This includes Arc-1882IX-12, Arc-1882IX-16 and Arc-1882IX-24. We will receive the inventory this week and update our web site in the same time.

The only difference is in the part number on the boxes as follows:
You can find the P/N on the controller retail box. It will show 30 on the P/N. Such as:
91-188201-I030 (ARC-1882I PCIe Gen 3 version)
91-1882D1-IX30-16 (ARC-1882IX-16 PCIe Gen 3 version)
Thanks Bill, this is good news.
This is my first hardware raid card. I've previously only done smaller software raid arrays on my builds, so I don't know if I have setup the array optimally yet. Still reading manually and doing online research.
I have 10 SSD's in a Raid 0 on it, and done some benchmarks. Screen shot of benchmarks in the post below:
If you have any experience with the benchmarks for other raid array's, would love your interpretation. I'll probably try a Raid 5 array next.
