I've been using AE for a short time now and have done basic motion tracking successfully in the past. However, just recently when i've tried to motion track something, instead of it just doing the regular tracking, "Warp Stabilizer Tracking" has been coming up. I can't figure it out and simply want to just use the regular motion tracking. Is there a button or option somewhere that lets me switch between the two? Im using AE CS5.5
Warp Stabilizer is not a tracking tool, so there is no such thing as 'Warp Stabilizer Tracking'.
However, Warp Stabilizer is assigned as default stabilising tool to the Animation -> Stabilize Motion menu option and Stabilize Motion button in the Tracker panel since AE CS5.5.
So as to access point tracker just click Track Motion button in the Tracker panel or choose Animation -> Track Motion from menu.
If you want to stabilise with the legacy stabiliser, get access to point tracker first by choosing Track Motion in the Tracker panel or Animation menu and then switch Track Type in the Tracker panel to Stabilize.
