    InDesign CS5 hanging

      Hi everyone,

      I'm trying to help a colleague with her InDesign, which is hanging several times a day (recently several times an hour).

      Mac OS 10.7

      We have Extensis Universal Type Server but do not use the auto-activation plugin (moved it out of the plugins folder as this was causing crashes on another occasion)

      I ran FontFinagler to clear the font caches hoping that a bad font in the cache might be the culprit. Didn't help.

      Trashed preferences, repaired permissions, round-tripped document to idml also without improvement. This hanging is happening with all documents, so it doesn't seem to be the specific document that is a problem but some other settings.


      I uploaded the crash report to pastebin if anyone can help decipher it.
