I'm having some trouble getting compc.exe to build my project
correctly. Basically, in the IDE, we have multiple individual
projects (SWCs) that are then used in creating the main SWF. This
works fine in the IDE.
My problem is using compc.exe, and compiling from the
command-line... which I'd like to do, so I can write a script to do
this and not have to build it manually.
If I try to compile any of the projects which rely on other
projects, they fail to build. Lets say ProjectA has a dependency on
B and C, both of which have no dependencies of their own. I can
compile B and C just fine, but A fails. How do I go about using
compc.exe so it pulls ProjectB.swc and ProjectC.swc properly when
Thank you for your reply. First of all let me say that I'm
not a Flex developer myself, only trying to automate the builds of
Flex projects, so I apologize in advance if my terminology is
unclear or incorrect.
I have attempted to use external-library-path and
-library-path to designate where I am storing the build SWCs (lets
say C:\SWC). Perhaps I am using it incorrectly, though. Is there an
example of how it is used? The compc help itself is... sparse
