RoyaltyTech Aug 15, 2012 1:14 PM (in response to LisRen19)Eithe works. Both options are relatively easy. You can definitely add the page once it's published yes. Though if you want to start working on it in the background here and there just add it and exclude it so you can work on it in the background.

LisRen19 Aug 15, 2012 1:16 PM (in response to RoyaltyTech)Thank you. Is there a link on the adobe for adding a page after a site is published?

T.J. Harrison Aug 15, 2012 1:20 PM (in response to LisRen19)Both methods are simple and both are effective. The question is: is it going to be harder to remember how you designed a page x number of months/years in the future, or is it going to be harder to remember that the Exclude Page feature exsists and that you used it on this one page?
Edit: just publish the same way you did the first time. If there are new pages, they will be included.

4. Re: Adding a page later
LisRen19 Aug 15, 2012 1:22 PM (in response to T.J. Harrison)Good point, but the design of my site is straightforward, so I'll chose to wait to add the page. Is there a link on the Adobe site on how to add a page later?

T.J. Harrison Aug 15, 2012 1:26 PM (in response to LisRen19)It's probably covered in one of the many tutorials, but no need to dig for it. Just publish in the same way you did the first time. Any changes, including new pages, will be part of the new publish.

LisRen19 Aug 15, 2012 1:39 PM (in response to T.J. Harrison)Also, I can't find how to put my menu in all caps. Is that possible? I'm watching a lynda tutorial on muse and can't find how to do it in it nor have I found how to do in in Adobe help pages.
Thanks

8. Re: Adding a page later
T.J. Harrison Aug 15, 2012 1:50 PM (in response to LisRen19)This is a two part process. First, go to the site map (Plan) view and change your page names there to be all caps.
Second, right click on the page thumbnail (still in Plan view) and choose "Page Properties..." at the top of that dialog, you will see two buttons: [Layout] [Metadata]. Choose Metadata. In this dialog, you will find "Page Title". Uncheck this box titled "Same as Page Name" and give your page a real title (such as "Bob's Taxi service - airport flat rates") The title will be what appears at the top of the browser window and in most search results.
You can skip the second step, but then your page titles will be in all caps and not very helpful.
