Do you have the Audio on Slide or on Animation under that Powerpoint PPT ?
Please make sure that Slide duration is matching the audio duration, might be a possibility the lenght of the slide in Captivate is too short for the audio.
The animation works fine and matches the duration of the slide. That is not the issue. It works fine unless I "click" on the slide. Upon click it displays all of the text and skips to the last portion of the audio. I have disabled the clickbox.
I was puzzled by this sentence 'I have unchecked the mouse click button for the slide'? Could you explain what you mean? Personally I would just have deleted the click box, that was inserted because of your PPT-settings, on this slide. It is visible in the Timeline panel, easy to delete.
When I imported the presentation into Captivate, I originally kept the transition on "on mouse click". That puts a click box on each slide. There is an option to disable the mouse click. I later reloaded the presentation and changed the setting to "automatically". That removed all of the click boxes. but it did not fix the problem. It still interupts the presentation if you click on the slide once it is published. There must be something in the PP presentation that is overriding the settings in Captivate.
Unfortunately, I can't share it. I gave up on trying to fix it and removed the animation.
Did this issue ever get solved? I too am trying to get the animations to work from a PPT import. When I view it in HTML it varies whether the animations work or not. Never when i publish though. Is there a fix or something I'm doing wrong?
I did import with High Fidelity.
