Dima Tikhonov Aug 22, 2012 2:59 PM (in response to jason-m)Try going to "~\Library\Preferences\Adobe\" and then delete folders "Adobe Media Encoder" and "Common"
This will put AME in default state and remove media cache. Custom presets will also be deleted so make sure to back them up.

Wesley Blokker Sep 17, 2012 8:43 AM (in response to jason-m)Just deleting the Adobe Media Encoder folder in the given directory works just fine and this saves a lot of trouble because your settings are maintained as are your presets.
