Hopefully one of you guru's can help with this frustrating issue!
Every time I click on Motion to manually reposition a clip in the Program Window, it stalls.
The whole app freezes, then updates after a 4-10 second delay. Even the History panel waits to update.
It doesn't matter what the playback & paused resolution is set to.
It does the same working with varying formats: H264, AVCHD, DVCProHD, in sequences w/ settings that match clip.
I've tried both "optimize rendering for 'Performance' and "Memory'" with no difference.
Running the latest update of CS6. Mac OS 10.6.8.
On Mac Quad Core Xeon 2.9 Ghz, 12 GB.
I've got 9 of the 12GB total allocated to PP.
Video card is: ATI Radeon HD 4870
Thanks very much!
How many hard drives, and which one has your video files?
Four 1.5TB internal SATA's. Three for media and one for system.
Media drives have at least 400GB available. System drive is pretty full - 100GB available.
You certainly have enough drives to spread the workload
I have several links for optimizing Win7, but nothing for a Mac
You didn't put Mac in your title, so you'll just have to wait for someone with a Mac to read your message and reply
