I've created a slideshow in Premiere Elements 9 with photos and published it.
But I want to edit the slideshow again, but none of the photos are filling in the timeline. It just shows red blocks instead of my photos. I need to complete this project today at noon.
Why won't it recognise the photos which are still in the original file location?
Not pleased with this.
Where are your original photos located?
Unless you used the Photo Downloader in Premiere Elements to download the photos to your hard drive, they are still on your camera. And, when you disconnected your camera from your computer, you lost the connection to them.
They might also be on an iPod or an external hard drive or other device that you've since removed.
If you are getting the Media Offline icon (red with multiple languages), then it is most likely that you have moved your original media.

Your media files are NOT included in your Project file (PREL files), but only links to where those media files were located, when you Imported them into the Project. See this article for more info: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/477920?tstart=30 (linked in the "Where is file ____ ?" article.
