This is something I've wondered about for years:
You know how you can deselect a path "layer" (for lack of better word) in the Paths palette by clicking in the empty space of the Paths palette? What if your Paths palette has so many saved paths that there is no empty space to click in? I know I can just extend the palette, but I don't want to have to do that, because all my palettes are tightly organized into a Giant Wall o' Palettes on a second monitor. Is there a way to hide all paths without having to extend the palette to reveal empty space?
If not currently using a tool that operates on Paths, activate one, for example press A key. Now press Esc key to untarget all Paths.
Ah, excellent. It actually works regardless (even if you have the Pen tool selected). Thanks!!
