Why does the application path listed in the pastebin report list the application as a copy?
/Applications/Adobe InDesign CS5.5 copy/
You might have to uninstall/reinstall
I uninstalled InDesign from the new computer hoping I'd be able reinstall with an (unnecessary) copy of my InDesign application file from my old laptop. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall without any luck.
Here is the latest crash report, to my knowledge the InDesign application file should not be shown as a copy this time:
I'm not sure if this is related, but I read somewhere that InDesign allows you to run the purchased software on two of the user's computers but both programs cannot be used simultaneously. However, this shouldn't be the problem because I do not have InDesign open and running on my other computer at the moment.
The most recent versions of Adobe software don't respond well to migration. I take it you did not do a clean install of the OS? It seems to be due to a font issue. Try searching for SING removal for one possible solution.
It can works good when i update to 10.8, but when i update the OS to 10.8.1, i cannot open any file!! Even old file or make a new one! Its just show a error dialog box to fix or reopen , but still cannot open any indesign documents whatever i click the chooses !!
finally i need to back to 10.8 from my time machine(Lucky i've backed up!!!!)
Is that any fix when i try 10.8.1?
