How can I prevent a swf file from playing too fast in Director 11.5?

      Hello,

I've inserted a swf file as a "Flash movie..." media element in Director 11.5 and I've checked "DTS". The video in the swf file is playing very fast while the audio plays normal. From what I understand, checking "DTS" is supposed to control this, no?

Why does this happen? How can I play the swf file normally?

      Thank you in advance!!

          G’Day Daedmonds,

Whenever I get this problem – I set the ‘Frame Properties: Tempo’ to the same as the playing flash movies fps.

It sounds like you have your director frame tempo set to 30fps (default) while your flash movie has a lower fps tempo.

(the sound plays at the right speed - but the animation plays too quick)

You can add a tempo for each frame, via the top line of the Effects Channels.

          I hope this helps.

          Milky.
