I like to have a measure of control over my installations of software, especially with something like Flash that forces the restart of browsers (when I do some web design I'll have three open to check appearances in different browsers). So I always set it for 'inform me when a new version is available'.
...and then every update it tries to make me change to 'update automatically'.
Why does it forget between versions? If I set it on 11.2 I'd expect it to remember my requested installation method on 11.3, and then on 11.4, but it does not.
