Can't use spaces on the beginning of the second line in wrapped text

Because the beginnings of words always wrap to the next line, with the spaces accumulating after the word at the end of the previous line.  Any automatically-wrapping text formatting process does this.

If you want spaces in front, hit return first, to force the start of a new line, then type your spaces.
