i have had to do a fresh install and re-installed my custom fonts in the mac font book app.
however, when i open a indd file with these fonts it shows them as missing and i cannot figure out how to "re link" or "re point" ID to these fonts.
i would VERY much like to avoid selecting all the text and re-choosing the fonts as all of this is customized by size etc and if i do this i am afraid i will lose my formatting.
should i just close the doc and re-open? can anyone help me figure out if there is a way to globally re-associate the original fonts?
would anyone mind helping me with the pickorder in this dialog?
it comes up when i open my document after clicking "Find Fonts" but i am at a total loss as to how it is supposed to work.
i click on one of the "Fonts in Document" and then what do i do?
also, what is this dialog called in the Help? "Find Font"?
sorry. i got it.
you select the missing font, then you select the font that it should be using then you go back up and select "Change All"...
And check the box to redefine styles, too...
