How do I make the text that follows a table stay with the table across text frames?

I have several single row tables in a large block of flowing text.  I want to ensure that the paragraph that immediately follows the table always appears with the table across frames.  I am sure this was possible in InDesign CS 2 by setting the keep options on the paragraph that contains the table (if you show hidden characters, then you see a paragraph marker at the end of the table).  However these keep options do not appear to work on the table in InDesign CS 5.5.  I have also tried setting keep with previous on the paragraph that follows the table, but that does not work either.  In either case, if you select Highlight Keep Violations, then the offending paragraph is drawn in yellow.

Is there a work around for this?
