Thank you Mylenium. That is what I generally try to do, however not all 3D artists render to exr.
Several passes come out iff as default. Since this worked previously, why can adobe not make it work again in CS6.
I see several other people have had issues with this, but no fix other than use other formats.
I'd like to know why this error occurs. It seems to not happen consistently.
I have used rla files and they have been very reliable, but I need to progress to a format which is more universally supported.
.iff files are preferred here for Nuke. In that regard it would be good if AE supported it better.
I got this once I updated to CC. I also have had issues when opeing and IFF that then gets rendered over (my bad on that one).
Be sure PS is closed when working with IFF and AE, this solves it for me in CC and it might solve it in CS6 too.
