Hello. Does anyone have experience or advice on whether or not I should relink the .avi files I made via neoscene back to my original .mov files after I edited them? I converted my .mov's from my Canon 7D because I could edit them more easily. Now I want to make a blu ray, and I made a blu ray mpeg 2 and imported it into encore, but I just feel like there's a lot more noise then there was in premiere pro, and i wasn't sure if the right thing to do now was to relink the original .mov files. the footage was shot at a low iso and was pretty well lit, so I just don't really think the footage itself is already that noisy. Is that a good idea to relink? Thanks!
Cineform makes visual lossless files.
No need for you to replace the CF files for the original.
Preview in Encore is but a preview.
Make the BD and watch it on a tv and see how it looks.
