    Subtracting using the rotobrush

    dh91 Level 1

Hey guys. I'm working on a scene in which I need to cut out a small portion of the shot. It is too "complicated" to mask out (subtract) by hand so I tried the rotobrush, and got a good roto. The problem is the brush automatically keeps everything within the roto selection, but I want to subtract it like a mask. I can't seem to find this option, does anyone know how to do this?

I did a search but all I can find is how to "subtract" the brush using the alt/option key.

      Thanks,

      Dan
