If you install Acrobat 10 then it will automatically configure the PDFMaker toolbar in I.E. You can try repairing the software.

Open Acrobat -> Go to Help menu -> Repair Acrobat Installation.

Solution #2

Select "Enable third-party browser extensions" in Internet Explorer Properties.

1. Start Internet Explorer.

2. Select Tools > Internet Options and click the Advanced tab.

3. Select "Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart)" and click OK.

4. Close all Internet Explorer windows.

If still doesn't work then let me know what the version of I.E and Acrobat you are using.

I have also lost the PDF Converter.  It was running great the other day, but as of today, it is gone.

I am running Windows 7, ie9, with "Enable third-party broweser extensions " enabled.  I have also did the repair on adobe X.  Still no luck in getting the Adobe Toolbar installed.

I have looked at the add-ons and the tool bar is not present in IE9.

Do I need to re-install Adobe X.

Just a note, I accidentially had IE10 to install on my Windows 7 and 8 PCs.  Had to remove it as IE 10 does not work for all my applications.  Would that have an bearing on this problems?

I would appreciate hearing from you

Always try a REPAIR before an uninstall/reinstall.

Hi

Are you able to see the Acrobat Create PDF toolbar under Installed Add-ons (Tools > Manage Add-ons) ?

If yes, then you can view the toolbar by :

  • In Internet Explorer, choose View > Toolbars > Adobe PDF

Thanks

Lost toolbars, not one of the solutions from adobe or any of the suggestions elsewhere works. My default browser is Chrome. I want the PDF, not a web version of it.

Why is Adobe always putting out such crap?
