Which version of Acrobat? Are there any other scripts associated with the
Acrobat X Pro.
No other scripts on that form.
Works fine for me. Try updating to the latest version and make sure there
are no other scripts that interfere with the field's value.
If all fails, try repairing the installation of Acrobat.
Thank you for trying.
I do have the latest version and the only other script is on a button that sends messages to two copies of Dave Merchants SWF (Rich Media & 3D). It all looks pretty harmless:
I started off again with a new PDF and new form, with no other script, and got the same results.
Under Tools\Content I used Select Object to change the properties of the Text Field.
When I toggled the option to "Allow Rich Text Formatting" the first letter following each instance of "\n" or "\r" appeared and disappeared from the Text Field.
I don't know yet how the \n and \r are expected to behave, but at least there is a reason.
