So if you are re-installing you need to make a copy of those folders to a safe location. And, at least on the Mac, you will also find some plugins stored in the LIBRARY>Application Support>Adobe>Common>MediaCore folder

Jonas Hummelstrand Oct 18, 2012 2:40 PM (in response to Cris is Bliss)If you don't check "Delete Application Preferences" in the Uninstaller, everything should be left alone. If you don't want to take any chances, I'd recommend that you clone your boot drive with "Carbon Copy Cloner" before uninstalling, so you can undo that uninstall if you need to.
