Thanks, I guess my next question would be where would I put the code? I create my div tags but inserting div tag in dreamweaver which writes the code for me. should I place the code for opacity after all the coding for that particular div tag? Would this same code work for text?
It's best if you get a good grasp on CSS and how it works. There are a lot of places online for tutorials that can get you going. Building off of what Nancy posted, visit the w3schools site here:
And run through the tutorial they give. That should be enough to get you going.
The opacity code is a CSS rule. It will reside in your CSS file under whichever DIV you're wanting to be transparent. If your DIV that you want to make transparent is class bieber, your CSS would look like this:
Also, make sure to take a look at moz- tags & ie-filters that will ensure your opacity is retained on all browsers.
