Adobe After Effects CS6
I have clone stamped out a microphone in a scene. However, when the camera pans there is considerable motion blur on the scence except for the painted over microphone. Is there a way I can blur this clone stamp out without blurring out the entire scene as well?
You can try animating CC Directional Blur. To get it to perform properly, you may have to apply AE's Grow Bounds effect first; I've never tried doing this on a clone stamp.
I think I found solved it for anyone else who may be interested. I created an adjustment layer with a mask on it. I attached my track points--those used to track the clone stamp--to the position of the adjustment layer itself. I just had to reposition the mask and it follows nicely with the blur.
