I'm sorry to hear that you have trouble accessing you local photos.
Maybe you can try to clear the data from the "media storage".
In the Android Settings:
1. Select Applications/Apps
2. Manage Applications
4. Select "Media Storage"
5. Press Clear Data button
Users reporting this issue have a corrupted database which makes it impossible to see the image in PS Touch.
Check if it helps to reboot afterwards.
If you have lots of images on your device the Media Storage needs to scan all of them. Until it's done you won't see them in PS Touch.

Is there one? Under which Tab/Menu is it located in? FX? I'll take a look at it again... this will be my 5th attempt.
