There are some tutorials on Adobe site:
The parts 1 and 2 are videos about 10 minutes each while the first link is a detailed article that you can print and practice on your machine.
Hope this helps.
Thank you 'mytaxsite' I've already gone through all of those videos - they show how to make the HTML5 animation, and the last one quickly shows how to put in one section of your anination into the code, but it was too quick and couldn't see the code properly so I couldn't work out how to put the whole animation into my webpage... There just seems to be a lot of footage on how to use 'createjs' but not how to embed the animation once it's created. d;-(
Thank you for sending me the links though xxx
Hi Sudarshan, thank you for taking time out to send me the link... I've found a lot of links like this that show me how to make the HTML5 animation from Flash, but can't seen to find how to then embed it into a webpage, very frustrating - d;-(
Flash with CreateJS already publishes your content as HTML.
You could open up the HTML file in Dreamweaver and copy the code from the published file to wherever you want to embed it along with all supporting .js files, retaining the link. That should work.
If you're still confused, post your published HTML code here. That should help us in assisting you better.
Dear Sudarshan, thank you, thank you, thank you!!! As you can probably guess... that worked
I was approuching it from the wrong angle - I first tried to edit the the HTML page CreateJS had created, then I tried embedding the js file, then the html file - when all I needed to do was copy the HTML code into the div I wanted it in and take out the underlined bit of code <body onload="init();" style="background-color:#D4D4D4"> as I couldn't work out why the rest of the page was greyed out.
Thank you so much for taking the time to help, it really is appreciated - d;-)
You're welcome, Debra.
Glad it worked!
