What kind of swatches? RGB, CMYK, …?
And do you know the Color Spaces they were created in?
The document is in RGB mode. I didn't change the color space, so it's the PS default color space.
I cleared the swatches, pasted an image and created some swatches from it. When I hover the mouse over the swatch, there appears a tooltip with Hex number. I would like to export all swatches as a text list of those hexadecimal numbers. (and possibly as HSL).
so it's the PS default color space.
And what is that?
In my case, the Color Settings dialog shows sRGB color space. And it is a North America General Purpose 2 preset.
Seems Swatches are somewhat difficult.
So while it might be able to use Scripting to get the hex-values of the loaded swatches is it worth the effort? Is the task a frequent one for you?
But maybe somone else has more insight in the matter.
