I have a new Macbookpro and am trying to install CS5 on it and after apparent successful installation I get an error message when I attempt to use it stating that some of the application components are missing from the application folder and that I should reinstall the program. I have done this several times. I have deactivated the program on the old computer and on this one after each failed attempt. What am I doing wrong?
When components are missing, there are two main reasons for this:
Try uninstalling again.
Then run the Adobe CS Cleaner Tool to thoroughly nuke and clean up any obscure or temporary files which may be causing ongoing issues.
