    Help H.264

    diko 45

I am currently working in AE cs6. My problem is when I import my footage (h.264) Ae don't read the file properly. The frame rate is wrong and it won't render. Is it my settings who is wrong?. I heard that AE cs4 has a problem with importing and render h.264. Do I need to convert to another format. I think it's weird if it is only one solution to this problem, because many camcorders to day record in  h.264.

      Help ?

Well, the After Effects of today can work with H.264.  Unfortunately, you don't have it.

If you can't upgrade to CS6, you'll still have to transcode your footage.  I recommend Quicktime Movies in the PNG codec.  They're lossless.

Which sort of H.264 footages are you talking about? Are they spanned AVCHD clips?

If so, CS6 may have an issue with them...
