    Crash on loading mid-sized project

I´m having an isssue, where some projects only load to 33% and then After effects crashes without even giving an error.

Searching the web I found solutions like:emptying cache, reimport projects in fresh projects, deleting user preferences that didnt help in my case. Since the last time I worked on the files (3 month ago) my quicktime was updated, I completly uninstalled it, because it was my main suspect/problem in the past, but that didn`t solve the issue.

Is there any way to get a log file what happens during the start, that I could at least isolate the asset that causes the problem.

Like a debug mode for After Effects?

Yes, you can create an empty file called After Effects Log.txt in your user My Documents or AppData\ Roaming folder, then view that file in any text editor.
