I just recently upgraded to cs6 from 5.5 and I am opening a cs5.5 project in cs6, all looks fine and dandy until I scrub through the timeline and all the lips and music are where they are supposed to be, but within the clips, some of them are in the wrong segment of their perspective clips, in other words, parts of the clips that were cut are in the place where what I originally had my cut. It's almost like when you set an In and out point but its the wrong part, and the wrong part is there for the same duration instead of the original i/o I had. Any ideas on what the problem is here?
Finish that project in 5.5. Start new projects in 6.
Problem is, I dont have cs5.5 anymore, that was on another computer. This is on a brand new one. But do you have any clue why the clips are showing different parts of the same duration as my original cuts were? I really would have to go in and find the pieces again, even though they all are in the same spot in the timeline where I left them.
I've never seen that myself. I can only think that something got smurfed in translation.
