I am using 9.0.2.271

I am working in conjunction with Perforce version control

I am generating WebHelp .htm

I am viewing the Help in IE and Firefox

Resuilts

When I generate and save the output locally (desktup), the search functionality works and returns appropriate results.

When the Help .htm is integrated into the software application, I enter the same search terms are entered and it returns "No topics found"

Is there some baggage file that is not integrating into the entire software build?

Or is there a path to search-related files that are absolute and then are broken in the software build?

Thanks for your quick reply.

Javascript is enabled to run on IE and Firefox browsers

I incorporated the entire contents of the \!SSL!\WebHelp\ folder into Perforce source control. Hopefully, this should the problem. I'll know after the next build.

Hi Jeff

I would think if certain folders were missing you would see errors. But I'm aware that the Contents, Index and Search areas rely on lots of different data that exists in XML files in a few folders. Specifically, folders bearing names like WHDATA, WHGDATA and WHXDATA.

One thing I might suggest checking is to ensure that you actually see folders with those names among your WebHelp output on the server.

Cheers... Rick
